Our Story
In the north-eastern region of Thailand, known by the name of Isan, the village Khongyai district of Kantarawichai is located, in the province of Maha Sarakham. The "Chi" river flows alongside it making the landscape enchanting and luxuriant.
To miss the birthplace every day, not to perceive the scents of the countryside that infuses the air with fragrances of an infinite variety of flowers and with the vision of a thousand colors, the trees and vegetation that move rhythmically caressed by the wind, the morning awakening in tune with the crowing of the rooster and the many birds on the branches of the trees, and the deep bond with nature, is a call to which my person cannot resist. In addition, the desire to rediscover traditions and continue the work in the agriculture sector undertaken by the family for generations, was the main reason for embarking on a project of "rice production with direct sales".
In the north-eastern region of Thailand, known by the name of Isan, in the village of Kantharawichai, located in the province of Maha Sarakham, there is our organic farm consisting of about 54 rai. The Chi River flows at its side with a slow pace making the territory lush.
Our farm, bathed by the river path, wants to be a model, to meet the production / economic needs of the small rice producers in the area. As it could be a valid alternative for selling the product directly, being at zero kilometer, thus reducing management and transport costs, and in the organic cultivation of rice. Following the millenary Thai traditions and at the same time finding alternative solutions in full respect of nature.
The company being made up of people from the same village, and having an interpersonal relationship based on mutual trust and esteem, wants to identify with the territory, becoming a reference point for the local population, not only in the sale of high quality products, but also to increase the development of the surrounding area.
ABT is a small rice farm based on the sustainability of resources and its organic products.
